I like this book

At the risk of sounding like I try everything that is written, I thought I would use this book as a guideline for ridding my diet of sugar and flour. I have been thinking of doing this for some time and I like Dr. Gott's take on it.

It is actually quite simple, remove anything with any kind of flour or any kind of sugar from your diet. Combine that with portion control, moderate exercise and other healthy choices and you are bound to feel better.

That's my take on things for today. Take care.

I would really agree with this approach.

My usual tactic would be to now rush and buy the book but I am in the middle of too many right now, given that I am nearly finished the Amazing Adventures of Diet Girl, am re-reading all my PH Miracle books (which would agree with your approach) and have recently had 4 amazon books delivered.

Best of luck with it (I was off the sugar till I came to Portugal, but will be back on track Friday when I go back Thursday).

susan, since i cut out the sugar and flour...and i had to cut dairy also...i have been feeling so much better. clearer headed and more even tempered. my skin clearer too. the weight loss has been a plus. all those years of trying to lose weight yet thinking i just HAD to have those foods to live. i still crave things i can't have, especially on an emotional day, though it is much easier now. the sugar craving passed first. well, except for the chai latte longing that shows up now and again. :)
i have a bunch of new recipes and i would be more than happy to send you some.
hang in there. you can do this! :)
